Spokesman for Majlis Presiding Board elected

Tehran, June 12, (ICANA) – MP Abdolreza Mesri from the Kermanshah constituency has been elected as spokesman of the Majlis Presiding Board, MP Mohammad Dehqan said on Monday.

Mesri had formerly served as welfare and social security minister and Iran’s ambassador to Venezuela.

The new Iranian parliament opened on May 27 and newly-elected MPs elected members of the Majlis Presiding Board on May 28.
