Kazem Jalali:

Dialogue-and-pressure approach toward Iran ineffective

Tehran, June 6, (ICANA) – MP Kazem Jalali says that Iran would not yield to the West’s dual track approach of engaging in negotiations and imposing sanctions.

Jalali, who was commenting on the next round of talks between Iran and world powers scheduled to be held in Moscow on June 18-19, also said that the best way to help resolve Iran’s nuclear issue is to continue purposeful talks.

Saying the International Atomic Energy Agency misled the nuclear talks by sending Iran's nuclear case to the United Nations Security Council, he said the first step towards confidence building is returning the case back to IAEA.

The lawmaker said the West is continuing with nuclear talks on the one hand and imposing new sanctions on Iran on the other but this policy of stick and carrot policy cannot work to force Iran to give up its rights.

He added that Iran will never relinquish its nuclear rights.
